Prof. Rattan Deep Chawla obtained his M.Phil. in Computer Science from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, MCA from Punjabi University, Patiala , ICWA(I) from Institute of Cost and Works Accountant of India and a Diploma in Exports Management from Bangalore. He has found his true love in Computers. The programming languages have always fascinated him. Developing programs for solving real world problems is considered by him as the most adventurous job in life. He has been in the teaching profession for 22 years and is currently heading the Department of Computer Science and Applications, Ramgarhia Girls College, Ludhiana. He is meticulous and doesn’t give up until he gets to the bottom of it- that’s his approach to a challenge. A perfectionist at heart, an ardent animal lover and always striving to do something for mother nature and society.

The author has 28 years of teaching experience. For 19 years she has worked in engineering. She has 8 years of research experience and has guided One Ph.D student also. She has life Membership of professional bodies like Indian society of technical education ISTE, indian Science Congress Association ISCA, Punjab Academy of Sciences PAS, RASAYAN; International journal of chemistry, Mukandian. She has been a certified Internal auditor ISO 9001:2000. She has 26 research papers in UGC approved international journals with impact factor, attended many national and international conferences and seminars. She has been actively involved in the research in the field of chemistry and environment, and is working on computer-based data analysis in both these fields. She has natured her skills in Human Values and professional Ethics; teaching and training. She has written 02 books and edited 01chapter in a book.
