About the Book

The word sustainability is associated with various perspectives, but the sustainable development is gaining attention in global community especially in rural areas concentrating on protecting natural resources and human environment and promoting social, economic and environment development. Economic conditions and quality of life have worsened in numerous rural communities which leads to high migration from rural to urban area. There are various sustainability challenges in developed and developing countries. This edited book is an effort to suggest solutions to the problems. The objective of this book is to build awareness on the term “Sustainable Development” and to draw attention to the various issues and challenges in the way of sustainable development in rural areas. Both entrepreneurship and sustainable development are connected with social, economic and environmental dimensions among transforming market, entrepreneurial processes, as well as large-scale societal developments at large level. Entrepreneurs contribute in solving economic, social and environmental problems in developing countries with respect to sustainable development and also concentrates on the development of social and economic values for the welfare of future generations.

Dr. Sachin Gupta (Ph.D, M.Phill, MBA, M.Com, UGC-NET, Executive Development Programe in Advanced Fi-nancial Management-XLRI Jamshedpur, Post Graduate Certificate Programe in Finance-IIM Indore, Diploma in IFRS-University of Delhi). He has written more than 50 Research Papers in ISSN/ISBN Numbered Journals and has presented papers in more than 25 National and international Conferences and Seminars. He has also contributed chapters for various edited books. Dr. Gupta is an author of 14 books of national and of international repute. He has directed a number of Research Project works in different areas of management. Dr. Gupta has handled no. of ad-ministrative assignments successfully and made exemplary contributions through his dedicated, committed and innovative approach with high integrity. Delievered more than 100 Extension/Guest Lectures in India and
abroad, completed one major research project funded by Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education, Department of
Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Govt of India. Reading, Writing and Teaching have always remained and is still his main passion. He is so thankful to the education fraternity for the opportunities in the last 10 years and really looks forward to learning much more and achieving new horizons.

Dr. Priti Goswami

Dr. Priti Goswami is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Management, Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak (M.P). She has experience of 8 years of teaching to different subjects of graduate and post graduate level. She has done B. Com, MBA, UGC-NET, Ph.D. She has published research papers in various National and International Journals and also presented papers in various National and International conferences. This is her second edited book as a part of her initiatives. Her areas of interest include Accounting, Finance and Entrepreneurship.

Dr. Mohd Ashfaq Siddiqui

Dr. Mohd Ashfaq Siddiqui is currently working as Associate Professor &Head, in the Management Department of Infinity Management & Engineering College, Sagar, affiliated to Maharaja Chhatrasal Bundelkhand University, Chhatarpur, M.P. India. He has taught management subject and guided research project of the students. He has 14 years of academic experience and published several research papers in international and national journals of repute. He was a member of the Board of Studies at Maharaja Chhatrasal Bundelkhand University, Chhatarpur. He was honored with International Best Paper Author Award in Management by Forum for Interdisciplinary Research Methods (FIRM) in 2021. He has also authored two other books.
