Jagadam Sai Rupali
Jagadam Sai Rupali is currently a Ph.D. scholar in Entomology at ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi. She holds a bachelor's degree in agriculture with first class distinction from S.V. Agricultural College, ANGRAU, Tirupati, and a master's degree from IARI, New Delhi. During her academic career, she was awarded the ICAR-JRF for her M.Sc. and ICAR-SRF for her Ph.D. program. Her outstanding performance earned her a gold medal and the Best Student of the Year 2023 award from the President of India during the 62nd convocation of IARI. She has also received the Best Thesis Award and Young Entomologist Award for her research on “Post-mating transcriptional changes in female moths of the fall armyworm, Spodoptera frugiperda”. She is one of the inventors of the ICAR-KRISHI technology- FAW Transcriptomic Atlas, a valuable tool for researchers studying the reproductive physiology of fall armyworm. Additionally, she served as a trainer for a DST-SERB sponsored workshop on “Bioecology and Physiology of Invasive Fall Armyworm” organized by the Division of Entomology, ICAR-IARI. She has also authored research and review articles, book chapters, and popular articles.
Vidya Madhuri E., is currently a Ph.D. scholar in Entomology at ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi. She earned her bachelor's degree in agriculture with first-class honors from Agricultural College, Bapatla (ANGRAU), and completed her master's degree at IARI, New Delhi, achieving the highest OGPA in her M.Sc. program. She has been awarded the ICAR-JRF for her M.Sc. studies, ICAR-SRF and INSPIRE fellowship for her Ph.D. program. Additionally, she has qualified for the ASRB NET in 2023 and received the best thesis award for her exceptional work on “Assessing brown planthopper damage using hyperspectral remote sensing” and three models were developed through the study for assessment of BPH severity. She is a co-inventor of the ICAR-KRISHI technology 'FAW Transcriptomic Atlas'. Her dedication and hard work have earned her the Young Agri Researcher Award, best oral and poster presentation awards at various conferences. Dr. Ayan Das has obtained his B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Visva Bharati and Ph.D. from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalaya. He has more than 8 years of research Experience. His scientific interest in the field of Plant Protection and Host Plant resistance. He has qualified ICAR-NET and Awardee of UGC fellowship. He has published few research articles and book chapter and presented his work in various national and international conferences.
Keerthika N is an agricultural science professional currently pursuing her doctoral degree at ICAR-Indian Agricultural Re
search Institute, New Delhi. She obtained her bachelor's degree in agriculture with first class and an OGPA of 9.08 from the
Faculty of Agriculture, Annamalai University, Chidambaram, and completed her master's degree at Palli Siksha Bhavana, Visva-Bharati University, Sriniketan, West Bengal. Her M.Sc. research focused on the relative susceptibility of various rice cultivars to important insect pests, specifically Scirpophaga incertulas. In 2023, she qualified for the ASRB NET and secured an All-India Rank of 9 in the ICAR-AICE (JRF/SRF) Ph.D. entrance exam, earning the prestigious ICAR Senior Research Fellowship. She has actively participated in numerous national and international conferences, receiving the best poster presentation award at an international conference. She has also authored several research and review articles, as well as book chapters.
Batthula Mythili completed her B.Sc. (Hons) in Agriculture from Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University, Polasa, Jagtial, Telangana. She earned her M.Sc. in Agriculture with a specialization in Entomology from Palli Siksha Bhavana, Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan, West Bengal. She qualified for the ICAR AIEEA PG 2021 examination and has actively participated in various conferences.
