The creation and synthesis of novel nanomaterials for diverse applications is the primary focus of this book. because they are superior to stronger particles in numerous ways, such as having better surface-to-volume and magnetic ratios. The nanomaterials is a tiny particle with a size range of one to one hundred nanometers. nanomaterials can have quite distinct physical and chemical properties from their bigger material counterparts, even though they are invisible to the human eye. In the field of biomedicine, nanomaterials are substances created at a scale of one to one hundred nanometers that enable the use of instruments and molecularly based knowledge of the human body to diagnose, treat, and prevent disease. Small in size, with a high surface area to volume ratio, nanomaterials can scatter and absorb visible and near-infrared light.

Vikas Gupta is a Professor and Dean, Faculty of Science at Motherhood University, Roorkee, Uttrakhand, India. His contribution in modern areas of chemistry is well recognised and widely cited. He has contributed as Investigator in an Armament Research Board of DRDO project at College of Engineering and technology, Moradabad. He has wide experience of 25 years in administrative and teaching Undergraduate and Postgraduate students of science and engineering. Dr. Gupta is a lifetime member of Indian Science Congress. He has organised DRDO, USERC, sponsored National Conferences as well as various webinars in the field of science.
Shama Parveen is currently works as an assistant professor in the chemistry department at Bhagwat Global University in Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. In 2024, she received her doctorate from Motherhood University in Roorkee. In 2021–2022, she was awarded the Young Scientist Award by the 16th Uttarakhand State Science and Technology Congress. She has worked in the fields of natural products and nanotechnology during her scientific career. Shama Parveen is a distinguished professional with a wealth of academic experience who has had a significant influence on the fields of administration and education. She has five book chapters and around sixteen research papers published in highly cited journals. Sudeepa Devi is currently working as a Ph.D. research scholar at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj University (CSJMU), Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, her research center is Dmsrde, DRDO, Kanpur. she was joined DMSRDE in 2018 as a junior research fellow and promoted to senior research fellow, during this research tenure she registered for Ph.D. in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj University (CSJMU), Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. She has worked on a defense project: “Development of modular, multifunctional nanocomposite membrane for the large-scale cost and energy effective water purification”. Her recent research focuses on biodegradable and biocompatible nanocomposites for colorimetric application. She received her Bachelor of science (B.Sc.) in chemistry and Master in science (M.Sc.) in chemistry from Bundelkhand university, Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh), India. She has been awarded CSIR UGC-JRF (NET) and GATE. Miss Sudeepa’s research interests include the synthesis of multifunctional carbon nanomaterials like Graphene, carbon nanotube (CNT), Graphene oxide (GO), Reduced Graphene Oxide (r-GO) and fabrication of corresponding composites with tailor make properties. Her academics are evident in her skills and qualities for the research domain, even in a brief time. At present, she has published seven research publication in renowned peerreviewed journals, two book chapters in springer and one patent. Her research work has gained considerable attention in various international peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
