Krishnendu Kundu, completed his B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture and M.Sc. (Ag.) in Plant Pathology from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, West Bengal, in 2018 and 2020, respectively. He was awarded the prestigious Bayer Fellowship during his master's program for achieving the highest rank in the university entrance exam. He started Ph.D. (Ag.) Plant Pathology at Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, West Bengal as the University Research Fellow and currently serving as a Senior Research Fellow in an Adhoc Project of the university. In 2023, he successfully qualified the ASRB NET exam in Plant Pathology. Mr. Kundu received the Young Scientist Award at the International Agriculture Conference held at GNFSU in Anand, Gujarat. He has extensive experience in both lab and field research, as well as in farmer training programs, accumulated over several years. His work includes numerous publications, such as research articles, conference papers, popular articles, and book chapters, earning him recognition from several esteemed societies.
S. B. Gowdar, an Associate Professor in the Department of Plant Pathology at the College of Agriculture, Gangavathi, University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Raichur, Karnataka. With over 25 years of experience in research, extension, and teaching, he has contributed significantly to integrated disease management, mycology, and organic farming. Dr. Gowdar has conducted more than 120 research trials across various crops, developed over 30 agricultural technologies, and produced over 2500 quintals of certified seeds. He has worked on pest and disease management in crops like paddy, vegetables, and pomegranate and has been involved in numerous field demonstrations, training programs, and advisory services. His research publications are widely recognized, with numerous articles in reputed journals focusing on plant diseases, pest management, and agronomic practices. Dr. Gowdar is also an active participant in farmer outreach programs, media advisories, and agricultural exhibitions.
Stanzin Diskit, Ph.D. Scholar, Plant Pathology with area of specialization in Mushroom biology. I have done my M.Sc and Ph.D in Plant Pathology from Sher-e Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology Jammu. I have qualified ICAR-ASRB NET in 2023. Currently I am working as Junior Agriculture Extension Officer in Department of Agriculture at Leh- Ladakh. I have Published many research paper in peer review journals and one research paper in international journal of medicinal mushroom.
Singitham Akshitha completed her Master’s in Agriculture with a specialization in Plant Pathology from Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad and earned her B. Sc. (Hons) in Horticulture from Sri Konda Laxman Telangana Horticultural University, Mojerla, Wanaparthy district, Telangana. Her masters research focused on “Biocontrol potential of endophytes against foot rot of finger millet (Eleusine coracana (L.) Gaertn)”. She has gained practical experience during Horticultural Experimental Learning Programme on mass multiplication of bio agents for bio formulations. She has published one research paper in Plant Archives - An International Journal. She has also participated actively in various conferences, receiving the best poster presentation award at a national conference in 2024.
Salini Das, completed her B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture from Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Srinagar (Garhwal), Uttarakhand and M.Sc. (Agriculture) in Plant Pathology from Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences (SHUATS), Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Plant Pathology at Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Nadia, West Bengal. She successfully qualified ASRB NET (Plant Pathology) in 2023.
