About the Book

The rapid advancements in molecular biology and biotechnology have revolutionized the field of agriculture, laying the foundation for a new era of precision breeding. Molecular Breeding Unlocked: Tools, Techniques, and Applications is an endeavor to consolidate the wealth of knowledge in this dynamic field and present it in an accessible, coherent, and comprehensive manner. This book is designed to serve as a valuable resource for researchers, educators, students, and practitioners who are at the forefront of agricultural innovation. As we face the twin challenges of feeding a growing global population and adapting to the impacts of climate change, the role of molecular breeding in modern agriculture has become more critical than ever. By leveraging molecular tools and techniques, we can accelerate the development of crops and livestock that are higher yielding, more resilient to biotic and abiotic stresses, and better suited to the demands of sustainable agriculture.
