Pranali T. Bhaisare, Assistant Professor at the College of Agriculture, Sonapur-Gadchiroli, holds a Ph.D. in Vegetable and Spice Crops and a Master’s in Vegetable Science. A recipient of the Maulana Azad National Fellowship, she has over five years of expertise in Vegetable Science. Her contributions include seven research papers, three books, seventeen book chapters, and two patents. She has received several honors including the Young Scientist and Women Researcher Awards. Dr. Bhaisare has qualified ASRB-NET and previously served six years as Assistant Professor at Dr. PDKV, Akola, with active participation in national and international con
ferences.

Sehrish Jan, a dedicated horticulturist and researcher with extensive experience in plant science and horticulture. With a PhD in Horticulture (Fruit Science) obtained from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology- Kashmir and years of research in the field, she has contributed significantly to the study of plant growth, crop production, and innovative horticultural techniques. Currently, she is working on a project focused on biotic stress mitigation in apple funded by SCL. Passionate about bridging the gap between scientific knowledge and practical application, Sehrish has authored many research papers and book chapters on modern horticultural practices. This book, Fundamentals of Horticulture, is a comprehensive guide designed to provide students, researchers, and practitioners with essential concepts and practical insights into the science and art of growing plants.

Kunal Pradiprao Deshmukh, currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering. He has over 7 years of teaching experience and has made notable contributions to the field of Agricultural Engineering. Mr. Deshmukh has published seven research papers and book chapter articles, and has actively participated in numerous national and international conferences, webinars, workshops, and training programs. His dedication to academic excellence and research has significantly advanced knowledge in his field. He is presently serving as an Assistant Professor in Agricultural Engineering.

Puneshwer Singh Paikra Born at Surguja, Chhattisgarh, India. Completed his school education from Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary education, Raipur. B.Sc. (Ag.) and M.Sc. (Ag.) from Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur (C.G.), India in 2012-13 and 2014-15 respectively. He joined College of Agriculture & Research Station, Narayanpur, Chhattisgarh, affiliated with Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur (C.G.), India as Assistant Professor in 2018. Presently Late Dr. RCSD College of Agriculture & Research Station, Korea, Chhattisgarh. He has published research paper, short communication, review paper, abstract and article and participated in various national and international conferences, seminar and workshop. His core fields are High Density Planting, Mulching and PGR etc. He works on “High-tech nursery” a state government dream project.

Manasranjan Parida, a native of Balasore, Odisha, holds a postgraduate degree in Vegetable Science from OUAT, Bhubaneswar, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Horticulture (Vegetable Science) at Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, Pusa. With a strong passion for horticulture since childhood, he has actively participated in seminars and conferences. He was awarded Best Poster Presentation at a 2025 national conference organized by ICAR-IIHR, CHES, Bhubaneswar. His academic path includes a diploma, B.Sc., and M.Sc. in Horticulture, and he has authored several articles on vegetable science.
