Floriculture is an important branch of horticulture. Now a day’s, floriculture has been gaining more and more popularity around the world. Not only loose and cut flowers gaining popularity but bonsai, penjing, terrariums, dry flowers and pot plants are also in great demand. Recently, some researchers and food companies have been working on floral eatable products like floral teas, floral cakes, gulkand and floral drinks etc. In cities lawns, vertical gardens, bonsai are always in great demand. For creating these with perfection, a skilled person needs different growing media and growth regulators. The availability of growing media has been always influencing the quality of produce and the cost of end product. Even during pandemic situations people like to bring ornamental plants to reduce stress and improving indoor and outdoor environment.
