It is just because of the havoc of a new virus i.e. Corona virus. This virus firstly appeared in Wuhan city of China in December 2019 then it is rapidly reaching to other countries as well. Therefore, everything is disturbed due to this virus, and the activities of the world have stopped for few months. The living habits of people have also changed drastically. Corona virus has been locked out the people in this entire world. It is the first time since the Second World War there was such a strict ban on the movement of people. In Italy and America, the situation becomes very horrific or hazardous, where a large number of people died due to corona virus All public places and institutions are closed such as educational institutions, economic and financial institutions, markets, shopping malls, religious places, theaters, fitness & sports centers, pubs, bars, etc. People are locked in their homes. Everyone talks about this dangerous virus and its effects. This virus is like a common cold or pneumonia. After infection with this virus, there are problems like sore throat, cold, fever, runny nose, and shortness of breath. This virus spreads from one person to another very easily, so great care is being taken about it. If a person has a corona, then the virus is transferred from infected person to other individual very quickly, so it is advisable to follow social distancing to avoid this. Constant efforts are being made to avoid corona viruses. Medical scientists and researchers are busy making medicines to get rid of this virus. The government is constantly taking drastic steps to avoid this dangerous disease so that it can get rid of this epidemic. Therefore, it becomes the responsibility of all of us to strictly follow the rules so that we can make the country disease-free. The governments of different countries have been taken various steps to prevent the spread of corona virus infection and to stop the increasing number of deaths. The governments are insisting on maintaining a social distance so that the virus can be avoided. This is why the lockdown was done across the world.

Dr. Dharmendra Singh (P.G.D in Forensic Science and Criminology, M.A. in Police Administration, M.A. in Public Administration and Ph.D.) is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Administration, National College for Women, Machhiwara, Ludhiana(Punjab). He has done his Doctor of Philosophy in Public Administration from the Department of Public Administration, Panjab University, Chandigarh. He has 12 years of teaching experience in the Graduate classes.He has edited two books titled “Indian Administration: Issues and Challenges” and “Law and Order Administration in India”. He has contributed several research papers, articles, and chapters that have been published in various journals and books of National and International repute. He is amember of the Under Graduate Board of Studies in Public Administration, Punjab University, Chandigarh, and Under Graduate Board of Studies in National Social Service (N.S.S), Punjab University, Chandigarh. He has presented several research papers in International, National, and State level seminars and conferences. He has also organized three National level seminars.
