The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 provides a broad framework for transforming Indian education, with particular emphasis on access, equity, quality, multidisciplinary learning, research, vocational education, technology, and skill development. Its aspiration to raise the Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) in higher education to 50 percent by 2035 makes expansion of meaningful and inclusive educational opportunities an important national priority. College for Women, Amritsar, Sponsored by NIEPA. The seminar brought together distinguished scholars and participants to reflect on the opportunities and challenges involved in translating the vision of NEP 2020 into practice.
